The Grill Room
Our new look, newly refurbished “The Grill Room” offers a unique concept of Brasserie cuisine within a relaxed and contemporary style atmosphere, offering traditional home cooked foods, offering Vegatarian and Children's Menus. The service received is attentive and poised with the well trained staff waiting to tend your every need. Our new look room now seats 90 people.
The “The Grill Room” is open seven days a week from
12.00pm - 9.30pm
We are now taking bookings for groups over 8 persons.
During the summer months, diners are able to take full advantage of the Alfresco dining area.
N.B. On Sundays, choose from any of our 3 Roasts and our fresh selection of seasonal vegatables. Roasts are available from 12 noon to 6pm.

Trip Advisor - “Outstanding Wedding Venue”
We got married here on the 4th April 2013. It surpassed all of our expectations. The staff were professional and very friendly at all times and made us feel very special. Angela and Natalie were exceptional. Natalie was the main wedding co-ordinater for our day and she did an outstanding job. She took care of all our guests including ones with special dietary needs. I would like to thank both Natalie and Angela for making our day run so smoothly.
We had our ceromony and reception in the ballroom. Our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. I was on a tight budget and was allowed to bring my own flowers and cake which they displayed beautifully.
Our wedding breakfast was fantastic, the food came out quickly and hot and was a very high standard. All of our guests said it was some of the best wedding breakfast they had ever eaten. I can especially reccomend the sticky toffee pudding as it was spectacular. We had white sparkling wine as a part of our wedding package and it was very good many guest asked what make it was as it was so drinkable. Thank you to the chef and their kitchen staff. The waiter service was exemplarly. In the evening we had a hot buffet this was also very good and our home made cake was given to guests.
We stayed in the Chatsworth suite which is beautiful. My bridesmaids and I arrived at 11am straight from the hair dressers and we felt welcome and cared from from the moment we arrived.
The DJ who also came as a part of the package was brillant. He played all of the songs on our request list and was professional and friendly.
All of our friends and family were very impressed with the venue. I would not hesistate in reccomending this venue to anyone as they made our day so special.

A Friday in April 2013 was the day my son and charming Daughter in Law got married, and the reception was held at Van Dyk Hotel.
It was positively perfect in every way! the room was beautifully dressed, the service faultless,food tasted delicious and presented so elegantly.
All the guests needs were catered for with a smile from Natalie.
My hotel room was stunning the bed so comfortable, nice and warm.
This is why I gave it 5 stars!
My stay was extremely enjoyable, a wonderful experience.
I can't recomend it enough.

Last week-end we had a surprise Golden Wedding party at the hotel, and from the moment we arrived to leaving two days later, the service and staff were excellent. Nothing was too much
trouble for anyone. We reserved five bedrooms which were so tastefully decorated and all with a different theme.
We ate in the private dining room which was beautifully laid out and the dinners and breakfast we were served were excellent.
The secret of this hotel is "attention to detail" and we would highly recommend this hotel; particularly if you are looking for perfection.

Hotel Van Dyk will be hosting a Wedding Fayre on Sunday 7th July 2013 from 5-9pm. See the Hotel as it would be for that special day with people from the industry offering advise and service to put the finer details into your wedding.

We live near too this hotel and the restaurants are very good, the brasserie serves excellent foods at reasonable prices, the presentation is very good . We've eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed with the quality, taste, service or value of the food. Because we live with a 5 miles radius of this hotel we have tried other local restaurants/pub too eat at and none mare better than the van dyk. The room is relaxing, classy and room, whatever time of day we have visited we have never been rushed/hurried with our food, we've been able too relax and enjoy the food in excellent surroundings

While driving past this Hotel one Friday night, a spur of the moment decision to call in and have a bar meal turned into a super evening. The Bar was packed with Diners, always a good sign, but we were offer a table in the lovely dining room, which was very impressive while still having the option of the standard menu. All the food was super and the stuff coming out of the kitchen for all the remaining tables looked just as impressive. Service was spot on, staff were friendly and helpful and will endeavor to return again but this time we will probably drive past deliberately and not take the route to chance. The outside area looked great for when the warm summer evenings arrive, if they ever do.

Just returned from a marvellous lunch in a wonderful restaurant.
Courteous staff and relaxing surroundings. We came here primarily because the Vegetarian menu looked so good, and it did not disappoint. There was so much choice. The leek and mushroom pudding was divine and the presentation exquisite.
Reasonable prices for quality, this will definately become a regular eatery of mine.
