PART-TIME POSITION To work as a team with 2 other night porters in a small family owned 15 bedroomed boutique hotel and wedding venue, responsible for late check in of guests, take down and set up of functions and weddings, security of the hotel during the night and also to attend to some housekeeping duties. Would be needed to cover some holiday days. Experience preferred but training can be given. Must be honest and reliable.



For weekends and evenings, duties include glass collecting, bar stock up, supporting the bar team with cleaning and glass cleaning. Immediate start must be able to drive as does include late finishes. Must be 18 or over.The right person can progress onto bar staff.



Hours are flexible depending on business, includes weekends. Can include FOH hours if full time is needed for the right people. To help with the set up and running of weddings and functions to support the events team.

Main Duties:

  • Checking guests in and out of the hotel
  • Processing cash and card payment transactions
  • Taking telephone bookings
  • Assisting with any e-mail or telephone queries
  • Providing guests with information about the nearby facilities & attractions
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy reception area at all times
